About

Meet Dr. Tai Chi, the most eccentric and whimsical Tai Chi master you'll ever encounter! With a Ph.D. in "Slow-Motion Shenanigans" and a minor in "Tea Philosophy," Dr. Tai Chi is not your average martial arts instructor. He claims his lineage directly from a long line of masters who learned from the birds and the snakes, and he's not talking about wildlife documentaries!

Dr. Tai Chi's classes at YMAA Orientsport Tai Chi School in Ealing, West London, are a sight to behold. Students are often seen trying to balance teacups while performing Tai Chi moves, inspired by his unique "Tea-Balance Technique" – a method he developed after observing that his own tea never spilled, no matter how complex the move.

In his brightly colored robes, which he insists are "the new black," Dr. Tai Chi teaches his students not just Tai Chi, but also the art of living life at a leisurely pace. His motto, "Why rush when you can flow?" is emblazoned on the school walls. Known for breaking into impromptu Tai Chi dance-offs and telling tales of the legendary Zhang Sanfeng with a comedic twist, Dr. Tai Chi is more than a teacher; he's a living embodiment of the joyful spirit of Tai Chi.

Don't be surprised if you find him in the local park, practicing Tai Chi moves with a flock of pigeons, whom he claims are "the real Tai Chi masters." Dr. Tai Chi is not just teaching martial arts; he's on a mission to bring laughter, balance, and a bit of delightful absurdity to the ancient art of Tai Chi.
